After living for nearly a decade in the Pacific Northwest, I now reside in Boston’s South End with my beloved rescue hound, Lawson and my partner, Sean. I cook. I hoard cookbooks. I do political and marketing work. I am interested in all things trauma and survivor related.

What I’m Reading

I’m a bookish type. I usually read 3 or 4 books at a time. Because I work in marketing, good storytelling and writing are essential to me. To that end, I’m almost always reading something fiction. I am continually improving skillsets, which means reading career or skill improvement literature. Politics and Government fascinate me, so I’m often reading something nonfiction. And lastly, I decided a few years ago not to drink; a bit of “quit lit” daily reinforces that decision. Anyway, here’s what’s on my nightstand and in my Kindle.

"Both tears and sweat are salty, but they render a different result. Tears will get you sympathy; sweat will get you change."

~ Jesse Jackson
