I noticed that my hydration needs have increased as my training becomes more challenging. I am generally pretty good about drinking water. However, I have given up the gym in favor of the great outdoors and it becomes a bit more challenging. I have planned a new route that has a few water fountains along the way but think that soon I will need to invest in some hydration gear soon. Make sure that your hydration need are being met by drinking 64oz. of water a day. I have a large pitcher that I fill up with ice, water, and a few lemon slices. I drink from this when I am home and make sure to bring a sports bottle when I am out. So far, so good…
