After living for nearly a decade in the Pacific Northwest, I now reside in Boston's South End with my beloved rescue hound, Lawson and my partner, Sean. I cook. I hoard cookbooks. I do political and marketing work. I am interested in all things trauma and survivor related. This blog begins during one of the hardest times of my life. My Mom was dying of Ovarian Cancer, and I was dealing with the traumatic fallout from a horrific stalking situation. I am one of those people who needs to sweat out pain, so I tried my hand at half marathons, a full marathon, and several triathlons. I haven't done an endurance event in a few years, but my new fitness loves are yoga and my Peloton bike (#ShazAMY_).
